(I)：过程描述加静物描述

在写作课中，老师往往把范文分析视为重要的一个环节。而学生因为无法搜集到很多作文的范文而对老师的范文分析寄予了厚望。但是，范文分析是不是简单的精读课呢?

流程图通常被老师们忽略，因为其在每年的考试中通常只出现1到2次。但是就是因为这仅有的1到2次，使得老师们上课的时候必然要提到。但是仅仅给学生范文，或者就英译中一次是否就过关了呢?对于一些有自学能力的学生来说，他们本身可能就具有了阅读这类范文的能力，而我们老师要做的就是把这个过程倒转过来，把如何读变成如何写。也就是说，我们要去归纳要点，总结技巧。用最短的时间(一般为最多2个小时)使学生能掌握所有图的写作要点。

在我的《精品六分班阅读写作教程》一书的写作部分中，我把所有的流程图分成了四类。在这里，我将第一个类型的流程图讲解重点罗列如下。难易程度用★表示，★★★★为最难。

I.静物描述加过程描述(★★★)

Water is essential to life. The illustration describes a basic survival skill---how to obtain water outdoors.

In order to get water, only a plastic sheet, a container, three *all stones, some green plants, and the sun are needed. First, a hole is dug out among the plants and a container is put into it. Then, a plastic sheet is laid upon green plants with two *all stones put on the two edges of the plastic sheet respectively and one bigger stone in the center and exactly above the container.

The sun’s heat causes transpiration from the plants, the invisible vapor from which goes up and cools when it meets the plastic sheet. Cooled vapor transforms into water drops, which under the force of gravitation flow from the two edges into the center. From there, water drops fall into the container.

As can be seen form the description, this method is easy to adopt, but very important to people traveling in the wild.

这种文章的主体段分成两段。一段静物描述加一段过程描述，都要以一般现在时来呈现。

在静物描述中，考生首先要把图上的装置向读者作说明。在这段里考生不用担心会出现生词，因为这个装置 所需要用的物体的名称都已经在图表上写明。但是在这个段落里，为了要达到描述的要求需要一句诸如“In order to ……,……are needed(necessary).”之类的话来作为中心句。在这句话里，必须要注意到的是所需物体的数量，以及相应的冠词。(见特殊字体‘FLOW’)。
