备考试题型分析季老师先建议同学们需要关注的是“对两个对立观点进行讨论，并给出你的观点”题型。常以“Discuss both views and give your own opinion”的字眼出现。对于这个题型，同学们可以参考一下剑8的173页或者 77页上的Test3（其对应的范文在167页上）来帮助对这个题型的理解

其次，同学们需要关注的是“分析某事物（发展、现象、趋势）的优缺点/利弊/积消影响”这个题型。这个题型在雅思写作考中，题目中常以“positive or negative”或者“advantage or disadvantage”,有时还会以“the advantages/disadvantages outweigh the disadvantages/advantages”这样的字眼出现。这个题型的范文，同学们可以参考剑5的53页上的题目，其对应的范文在剑5的165页上，还可以参考一下剑9的31页上的题目，其对应的范文在剑9 的163页。
