雅思口语Part2 之speech or talk 话题积累：
给大推荐一个app叫做TED,大肯定知道这个软件，这里*了各个大学和各行各业的名人给的speech,而且都是享誉际的人士。这里就给大推荐一篇叫做 why we have too few women leaders.

The speaker 叫做sheryl Sandbery. 也许提及到这个英语名字有点陌生，但是只要提及她的工作与头衔大就都知道了， the chief opereating officer of Facebook and most famous woman in Silicon Valley.

这位女强人在这篇speech里讲了这么一个问题
We don’t live in the world our mothers lived in or our grandmothers lived in, where career choices for women were so limited. Most of us grew up in a world where we had basic civil rights. We still have a problem: only 17 of the world’s 195 countries and around 4% of Fortune 500 companies are run by women.

其实女性这个话题对于大来说一定不陌生，在写作的文章里也经常遇到这样的内容，所以考生可以畅所欲言，比如可以讲到gender discrimination or equal treatment等等。相信大这里面一定有很多的词汇可以遇的到。也可以结合我们生活中遇到的女性在职场中遇到的问题。这样是不是把一个speech就关联到了自己熟悉的话题了呢.

她在这里还给大讲了一个自己的小故事
A couple of years ago, sherly  was in NY for a three-hour meeting, and was pitching a deal. She was in one of those fancy NY private offices. Two hours later, there kind of needs to be that bio break, and every one stood up, and the partner running the meeting started looking really embarrassed. And she realized he didn’t know where the women’s room is in his office. So she started looking around for moving boxes, figuring they just moved in. but she didn’t see any. Finally, the partner told her, she was the only women to have picthed a deal in this office.

大都可以把这样的小故事加进去，让考官对你的东西非常感兴趣。因为作为celebrity, 相信考官也是很有性趣听下去的哦。

至于why you like the speech 相信这个就更加好说了，大可以说这个speech让我们意识到了作为women我们同样可以追求自己的事业，而不是成为housewives。 也给了我们不断进步的动力和勇气， 要知道在职场中女性还是很受discriminated的。当然大也可以谈谈sherly本身这个人.

当然sheryl在speech当中还有很多让人印像深刻的话语，比如说she believes that women derail their own careers. They lean back during meetings and not at the table. They question their capacity fo lead more often than men do and push less often for promotions or pay rises. She gives advices to women: firstly,  sit the table ; secondly, make your partner real partner and don't leave before you leave.
