虽然在目前的状态下存在一定的必要性，但着实很残忍。

必要性：

除了使用动物，人类目前无法找到动物以外的替代品来测试药物可能对人类产生的副作用。针对人类疾病或生理状态的药物使用原理主要是依赖药物中的重要化学物质来完成人类某些生理机能的提升，然而面对一个复杂的生物，这些化学物质无法在达成治疗目的的同时不对人类造成伤害。进而，为了避免这些巨大的可能性，药物在作用于人之前找到和人体生理机能类似的生命体来进行测验的行为是必要的。而目前人类的科技仍然无法达到可以人工创造出和人类生理机能相同的作用对象，因而只能通过驯化和培养一些和人类具有一定生理相似构造的动物来进行实验，即便这种实验可能对动物产生一定伤害，但从人类的角度来说，也依旧比直接作用于人所可能产生的伤害要小。

然而很残忍：

动物被驯化并用来伤害以完成人类自身的目的这件事情已经彰显了其残忍性，因为它们并不是为了自我物种的延续而做出的牺牲，而是为了那些驯化他们的人。然而，另一个层面的残忍性在于，即便它们用生命做出代价来完成了测试，人们仍然无法那些的药物产品就一定是对人类无害的,因为不同体征的人们依然会对同一种药物表现出不同的反应——可能性的伤害依然存在。

It is to some extent reasonable to consider the necessity of experimenting animals for the possible effects from human-oriented medicines, but one can never neglect the brutality of this action.

For those voting for using animals for medicine researches, they may hold that it is, currently, still impossible to find any alternative way to testify the side effects of those medicines to people before they are marketed. Those negative consequences may provoke great losses, because even if we know that the chemical materials inside those pharmaceutical resources can theoretically cure certain diseases or improve human’s physical situation, the complicated living system may also perform negatively due to the intake of those elements. That is why the probation of medicines cannot be omitted, and why people need to find an alternative of themselves-a biomass of a similar physical system with human beings-to lessen the possible calamities that may otherwise happen on human bodies. Therefore, to domesticate, or cultivate some animals with same physiological functions seems the only way to fulfill those requirements, since we human have yet to compose a totally artificial organi* by ourselves, and it is true that the potential blights to those animals may be relatively less terrified than the damage to mankind if without them.

However, the thinking exhibited, even if rational somewhat, still cannot conceal the fact that this action practically is extremely cruel to those animals with the fate of being experimented. Those lives, no matter how proper to be used for this, are killed, or at least flawed from innocence for not their own species, but for the one who domesticate them. This is even much crueler if we see past the truth that even though those animals may generally be the sacrifice for testing the possible negative consequences, they still cannot ensure the harmlessness of the final products that are tested once and once again on their bodies and ultimately proved available for the public: people might still be poisoned, since they perform differently always in their physical situations; no one can ever give out the guarantee that those examined medicines totally fit for every person to better their bodies. That means the cruel treatment to these creatures are actually less than necessary, or even considered in vain.

In conclusion, these types of experiments can never eliminate their ruthlessness to the tested animals, and their necessity may be not as that clear as human’s expectation.
