3 为了

二、改变句式

英文句式同样不拘一格，所以也可以通过改变句式实现表达的多样性。举个例子：

本句对应的几种表达有：

1 Owing to its convenience and directness, currently, online education is being recognized by a growing number of people.

如果加上“同义替换”，那么本句的表达方式还会增加数倍。

三、长短句相间

广大考生在写作文的时候，经常会出现句型过短的尴尬，其实可以通过加连接词或从句的方式将句子拉长，这样既显得没那么啰嗦，又不会改变原意。再举个例子：

文中很多成分可以合并，效果如下：

He was soft yet cruel, devoted to pleasure but destitute of taste, and though exquisitely susceptible of vanity, indifferent to public esteem.

修改后的文章虽然字数变少，但内容不变，而且行文显得更紧凑，读来朗朗上口，所以文采更胜一筹。需要注意的是，并不是所有的句子都得写的很长，好的效果是长短句相间，如同一段乐曲，高低音搭配，读来才会更加悦耳动人。
