大值+趋势
动态图在描述各个对象的趋势时，有一个原则是从突出的趋势写起，也就是大值的趋势。所以，需要先用一句话描述某对象是大值，紧接着描述该对象的趋势，那么这两个信息就可以合并成为一个复合句。

-The percentage of the married was the largest among the four groups of American *s, going down by 10% to nearly 60% between 1970 and 2000. 【非谓语动词】
-The percentage of the married was the largest among the four groups of American *s, which went down by 10% to nearly 60% between 1970 and 2000. 【非限制性定语从句】
注：非谓语做伴随状语不能表示将来。如果题目是将来的时间，只能用非限制性定语从句(, which will go down...)

时间先后
动态图需要按照时间来描述趋势，所以必然会出现时间先后的逻辑关系。

-The number of marriages leveled off at 2.5 m(millions) during the period between 1970 and 1980, and/but then it underwent a gradual decrease to 2m in 2000. 【 并列句】
-The number of marriages leveled off at 2.5 m(millions) during the period between 1970 and 1980 , after which it underwent a gradual decrease to 2m in 2000. 【 定语从句】
-The number of marriages had leveled off at 2.5m(millions) during the period between 1970 and 1980 before it experienced a gradual decrease to 2m in 2000.
The number of marriages experienced a gradual decrease to
2m(millions) in 2000 after it leveled off at 2.5m between 1970 and 1980. 【 时间状语从句】
注：时间状语从句中before和after的用法有所区别。如果题目是过去的时间，before前后分别是过去完成时和一般过去式；而after前后都使用一般过去时。



将来的时间

- It is expected that the population of 15 to 59 years old will increase by 11% to 57.3% in 2050. 【主语从句】
注：完整句子前加上It is expected/predicted/projected that即表示将来。
