下面讲一段雅思写作“远程教育”的好处：

Distance education enables students to enjoy the comfort of studying at home in view of the fact that computers are now available to almost every learner and many institutions provide online courses. Students who study via the Internet can divert their time and energies to other activities, such as spending quality time with their family members, instead of traveling a long distance to school. This is especially important for people who have parental responsibility and no time to attend classes.

这里说到远程教育可以让学生在享受学习，在这里有一个短语：enjoy the comfort of doing sth,有同学对这个中的the comfort of表示很难理解，我们可以看下面这个两个句子：

Some people enjoy driving private cars.

Some people enjoy the comfort of driving private cars.

个句子给读者的感觉是有些人把开私车当爱好，这个意思就很诡异了；而二句让人感觉到这些人是因为喜欢享受开私车的舒适才开车的，明显二句话的意思更加贴切。

后面拓展了结果，用到了小小的对比，instead of在这里代替了if条件句，讲到如果不花很多时间去上学的话，可以把时间花在和人相处上。

下面讲一段 “上大学”的好处：

Students can receive immediate response from teachers and share non-virtual experiences with their clas*ates when attending a college. Conversely, if they take online courses, students may be in the danger of not getting quick feedback, thereby leading to a terrible sense of disconnection; students are also deprived of the chance to communicate face to face with their peers, and this may have a negative influence on their interpersonal relationship after they join the workforce.

在这里讲到学生可以接受老师及时的回复和同学有一些非虚拟的经历。non-virtual这个词用在这里是为了扣题，因为题目当中讲到了distance learning programmes是给学生提供virtual learning experiences的，所以学生上大学的话用non-virtual这个词比较恰当。下边用了反面论证法讲到了如果学生参加远程课程会有什么样的弊端，比如说会产生孤立感啊，不会处理人际关系之类的，这样就更加证明了上大学的好处。字数也就多了。

所以通过这篇文章，同学们关于字数的疑问就应该用拓展的方式解决掉，而不是去凑一些和文章前后没有逻辑关系的句子，记住考官是native speaker，他看文章一定是想看你想表达什么，如果前言不搭后语的话，虽然字数够了，但是文章的逻辑，也就是 中CC这一项会被扣分，也打不到提高的目的。
