雅思写作连接词正误分析

很多考生觉得连接词很简单，根本不值得一提，但是在真正的写作过程又很容易出错，本文将分析雅思写作连接词的运用。

句子连接问题

1. However, there are also quite a few people hold the opinion that college students should pay for their tuition fees.
改正：However, there are also quite a few people——However, there are also quite a few people who
解析：句子是由三个句子构成的，其中there are……是主句，hold the opinion是定语从句，而that college students should pay for their tuition fees是宾语从句（含有基本的主语、谓语结构），所以应该给hold前面加上主语who以代替前面的quiet a few people。
译文：然而，也有许多人认为大学生应该自己付学费。
2. It goes without saying that it can guarantee the equality of higher educational, it is a reasonable practice.
改正：it is——and it is
解析：两个分句中间不含有任何的连词就存在于一个句中，这是不合理的。根据前后之间的并列关系，中间加and。
译文：毋庸置疑，这可以计划证高等教育的公平性，也是合理的做法。
3. In addition, the government can make economic reforms to colleges is that school pay students to do community services around colleges.
改正：is that——, which is that
解析：is that本身是一个主语+系动词is + that引导的表语从句结构，但缺少主语。根据上下文的意思，加上 , which做成一个非限定性定语从句，解释前面的economic reforms。
