People are using a lot of online language translation apps. Are the advantages more than disadvantages of such services.

Language translation apps are commonly available to people. Those who are required to learn any foreign language often download such apps in their mobile phones and laptops. This technique of learning and translating a foreign language has both certain merits and demerits. I, however, think that it has more advantages than that of disadvantages.

As far as benefits are concerned, it is the most convenient method to translate a language. Since people download these applications in their phones, they can operate these applications easily and anywhere. Therefore, accessibility and being handy are major benefits of this service. Moreover, these apps are economical and does not involve hefty amount unlike coaching charges and transport cost to attend those coaching classes. People, therefore, can develop understanding of a foreign language without spending large amounts.

People, on the other hand, might misinterpret pronunciation, translation and grammar when they depend on such soft-wares and applications. Because understanding a foreign language without any guidance is really difficult. This, consequently, can create misunderstandings during communication with others. People, besides misunderstanding, may not grasp a language fully by the use of these apps only since a language has different modules like speaking, reading, writing and listening. Thus, learning it through online apps will be of basic level only.

In my opinion, in order to learn basic of a foreign language, online apps are immensely useful. As it is more important to convey your purpose of talk and get the idea of what others saying instead of becoming master of a foreign language. Despite, misunderstandings, these apps serve a lot especially to overseas students who cannot afford to attend language classes at initial stage of their studies in a foreign country. Thus, use of these apps has far more benefits than drawbacks.
