2021-10-01 : Task 1

You are a member of a sport club. Write a letter to the club president about an event that will be organized.

In your letter, you should tell:

what it is
who I am inviting
what my role is in this event.

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing to inform you about our plan for the upcoming event, that will be arranged at the football court of the club, on the 25th of December 2021, the second day of Christmas.

Their will be a friendly football game between Team A and the old team. Before the match there is an opening ceremony, local singers and bands will play and sing Christmas songs. Then the play will take off, after you will present the trophies for all the players and coaches; at the end there is a *all reception inside the basketball court for everyone.

During this event, all local people and the players family are invited. Additionally, we will send an official invitation for the city Council, members and council’s employees, and a special request will be sent for Mr.Georges Shaw the parliament member from our city. All local channels will broadcast it live on TV.

I would like to let you know, that I’ll be organizing and following the campaign for this event, on television, radio and social media. I need your approval to appear in some TV programs, in order to introduce the event and invite other people from new places to come and visit club.
