You have seen an advertisement for part-time job at a restaurant and want to apply for it.
Write a letter to the manager. In your letter:

• describe your experience
• tell him why you are interested in the job
• say why you think you would be suitable for the job.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to apply for a part-time job at your restaurant for the role of assistant manager. I came to know that your restaurant needs an assistant manager for evening hours through an advert published in employment newsweekly.

My name is Ell Green and I am pursuing masters in business administration at the University of Texas, which is one of the top universities of the world. In addition to this, I also hold a one-year diploma certificate in hotel management.

I am allowed for 20 hours of part-time work per week during my study and It would be a wonderful opportunity for me to work for you and gain real work experience. Moreover, your restaurant is in the vicinity of my campus and It would be convenient for me to work in late evening hours.

As you are looking for sincere candidates, I assure you that I would work diligently and would stand by your expectations by providing excellent service. Please find enclosed my CV and I would be happy to provide references from my college professor and members of the community.
