You work for an international company. Recently your job has changed and you believe that more training is needed. Write a letter to your manager.

In the letter, you should tell:

describe how your job has changed
what type of training you need.
Suggest the arrangements incorporating training and your work.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Mari and I am writing in regard to my new duties as a programmer at this company.

Previously, I have designed web pages with C# but now I am charge of report maker team. The main database that this team uses is My SQL so they have to use Oracle to implement their reports. Unfortunately, I have not enough information and experience how to work with Oracle and I need a few hours training about how I can use Oracle to build a report and how can I use Oracle to connect to My SQL database. Therefore, I would like to have one month training.

As you know, I am a full time worker and meanwhile I have applied for some part time courses, so I have not very free time. I am available every Monday from 2pm until 6 pm. I know I have to adjust my time with trainer’s time, but I am being glad if you can arrange me at this time.

Please confirm me if this arrangement is suitable as soon as possible.
