Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to complain about the filthy roads and enormous litter, which has become a nightmare for the people of South-west Street since last six months.

As a result of muddy roads, people are reluctant to visit the street, which is affecting the local businesses very severely. Moreover, wastage thrown on the dirty street makes it even worst and it is an open invitation to serious diseases which can be avoided by clean surroundings. In short, it has deteriorating impact on both health and economy.

The key reason behind the mud is the poor sewage system, which often leaks waste water on the street, and irresponsibility of municipality worker to fix it. Furthermore, there are not enough dustbins made available where people can throw their wastage is one more contributing factor.

I would be really grateful if the gutter system is properly repaired to avoid any such problems in the future. The authorities can install more trash cans to encourage people to throw their wastage wisely to keep the environment clean.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention a filthy area closest to my house on the North Road.

I have been a resident on North Road over 10 years, and I have never had a reason to complain to the council before. Recently, I noticed that massive amount of litters exits at the corner of the road, and it results a sore image to all people who live in the vicinity. Furthermore, keeping litters for long will cause a hazard area with possibility for different diseases. it is also effecting on the business market who located at the nearby places.

The council had earlier a contract with a waste management company, and it was responsible for the collection of waste and garbage which were created from all residents and tenants. When the contract has expired with the company, we noticed that no alternative action was taken by the council department to secure garbage collection. The waste`s skips were filled and garbage became over the road.

Council has previously his own team who were maintaining the area clean. Rather than wait till signing a new contract with other company, I would ask that you deploy your staff to clean the area from all created wastes and that you ensure they eliminate the pollution by regular inspection.
