For example, frugality is inculcated into many people’s mind as a virtue, because of the massive reports on scarce resources. Nevertheless, everything comes at a price. Actually, it is quite understandable that the public is more curious about the bad news than the good one. As a result, newspapers and magazines are there to provide what the public want, and this can lead to some extent of distortion of perceptions.
