It is pointless to try and keep them alive. 　　To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?(C3-2) 　　Argument(辩论类)：75%-85% 　　出题让考生辩论观点或权衡利弊 　　典型提问方式： 　　①Discuss both (these) views and give your own opinion. 　　②(To what extent) Do you agree or disagree? 　　③(To what extent) Do you think the advantages/ benefits outweigh the disadvantages/ drawbacks? 　　④What is your opinion/ view?/ What do you think? 　　5.Is this a positive or negative development/trend? 　　 　　Report 　　题目中不给出任何观点，但会出现一种现象，要求考生分析现象的原因，带来的问题，影响因素，解决方案，应对措施，以及产生的影响等 　　举例： 　　In many countries, schools have severe problems with student behavior. 　　What are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? (C4-4) 　　Mixed 　　提问方式往往既涉及议论又要求考生进行一定说明，所以兼备Argument和report的双重特性，从而相对灵活 　　举例： 　　Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. 　　To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective? (C8-3)
