英国高中课程 (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) 简称A-Level课程，它是英国的普通中等教育证书考试高级水平课程，是英国全民课程体系，也是英国学生的大学入学考试课程。就像我国的高考一样，A-Level课程证书被几乎所有英语授课的大学作为招收新生的入学标准。
A-level学习分成两年，第1年称为AS水准，学生通常选择自己最擅长且最有兴趣的3-4门课，通过考试后获得AS证书；第2年称为A2水准，学生可选择AS水准中优秀的3门课继续学习，通过考试后获得A-Level证书。
A-Level的课程内容由学生自己选修，自由选择搭配科目，对于学生自
己来说可以结合自身条件的不同来选择不同的课程，从70多门科目中选择自己擅长的3门学科进行修习。达到扬长避短的目的，也给学生更为广阔的选择空间。
英国高中课程的考试方法非常灵活，学生可以选择分阶段测试或者一次报考所学所有课程。而且，每门课程均有多次考试机会，最终成绩以最好的一次计算。
只要初中毕业，就可以直接学A-level。你可以先参加中考，中考结束后学习A-level。国内学习A-level课程，可以自学然后自己报名考试局参加考试（这种比较费自己精力），也可以在培训机构学习，由培训机构代为报名，这样会更省心。国内知名的培训机构有新航道，而且它的雅思很有名，就算学习A-level课程，英语水平也很重要，因为所有课程和考试都是英文的。一边学习雅思，一边学习课程。
它是由英国官方考试局爱德思EDEXCEL亲自授权新航道的考点。那里提供的各种服务还是很全的，有A-level课程培训，因为是爱德思考试局亲自授权的考点，所以还可以在那里学完后参加考试。如果申请英国大学，不仅需要A-level成绩，大学要求有雅思成绩。新航道的雅思很出名，所以可以在新航道同时学习A-level课程和雅思。考出成绩后，那里有专业留学的顾问，可以指导并且帮忙申请。新航道在全国有12个授权中心：济南、武汉、长沙、郑州、上海、成都、西安、石家庄、青岛、广州、北京和杭州。可以选择就近的学习。

郑州雅思考点是在郑州轻工业大学，从火车站打车也就不超过20元的车费，如果是坐公交车的话，在 火车站 坐 28路(约15站)/K28路(约15站)/2路快线(约17站)/2路(约28站) 到 省中医院 下，再往东走几百米就到了。

如果从北京雅思郑州分校走，在 经三路丰产路站 坐 2路(约10站) 到 郑州轻工业学院 下，很方便。

对于住宿的话。轻工业大学有很多的旅馆，周围有好多的小旅馆，大概是50块钱的样子。我有个同学就是住的学校旁边的一个小胡同，好像是30块钱一晚上吧。就是一个床，而且人很多，很乱也很杂。我建议你别去那了吧。我觉得考试还是要安静一点比较好。不然影响考试的。

我上次去住的是轻工业大学招待所，轻工业学院往东走大概走7，8分钟左右，你就可以看到一个很高的大楼，大概有10几层吧，那个就是那个招待所了。我觉得那里条件很好，一晚上具体的我忘了多少钱了，好像是80吧，双人间。
