如何在雅思口语身份确认应答中博得考官好感

雅思口语考官在ID check部分标准的四个问题为：

“Good morning/ good afternoon.My name's X. Can you tell me your full name,please?"

“What can I call you?”

“Can you tell me where you’re from?”；

“Can I see your identification, please?”

这部分雅思考官需要在20到30秒内核实完你的信息，所以要注意你的回答要言简意赅。

在回答这四个问题时要注意要点如下：

问题1：“Good morning/ good afternoon.My name's X. Can you tell me your full name,please?"

考生回答应注意事项：

(1)不要说“Good morning, Mr. John。”。因为Mr., Miss, Mrs. and Ms。只是用在姓氏之前。而考官告诉你的通常只有名没有姓。比较合适的回答是：“Good morning, John. My name is Yang Yiming。”

(2)说自己的名字的时候一定要发音清晰，因为考官是在核实你的身份，不要因为你发音不清晰重复名字耽误考试时间。

(3)不要调整名字顺序，说成“Yiming， Yang”。按照正常顺序说你的名字即可。

(4)不要这么回答：“My name is Yang Yiming but you can call me Robert。”这个问题不用说你的英文名，因为接下来的问题就是问你英文名。回答了效果可能会适得其反。让考官觉得你是准备过话题。

(5)不要说“Yang is my family name and Yiming is my given name。”。这没有直接回答所提的问题。而且容易让考官联想到你是否在背模板。容易给考官不好的印象。

问题2：“What can I call you?”

考生回答应注意事项：

(1)如果选择英文名，要尽量选择常见的英文名。

(2)要保证英文名发音清晰准确，自己英文名发音错误会给考官留下很不好的印象。

(3)不要说“You may call me Robert。”因为“may”这个情态动词一般表示允许的意思，感觉是上级在跟下级说话。可以说：“Please call me Robert。”或是 “ You can call me Robert。”

(4)不要说“All my friends call me Robert”。这个答案听上去很像雅思口语书上的模板句。同时会给考官不真实的感觉。

问题3：“Can you tell me where you’re from?”

考生回答应注意事项：

(1)这个问题实际上等同于“Please tell me where you’re from。”所以不要用“yes”开头，然后再说来自哪儿。

(2)只是说你来自哪个省或是哪个市都不完整，正确的回答应该是两方面信息都涵盖，如：“I’m from Changsha, Hunan Province。”

口语高分捷径、只有5分怎么办?

a teacher of training centre(he used to be the examiner of IELTS) told us that we can get high score(over 6`5) easily through using SLANGS and IDIOMS.

Don't try to use very long and difficuls words in order to impress the examiner.It won't work at all. Long and difficult words make this guy bookish.

I think it's misleading, however, to say that using "idioms" and "slang" will help you get a high score on the exam. In fact, sometimes students try to use to many idioms and end up looking foolish. It's important to understand the proper colloquial usage of words, but it's more important that you use English that YOU are comfortable with to express your ideas. That's how you get a high score.

(By the way: If your friend was a former examiner, he or she would know that it's impossible to get a 6.5 on the IELTS Speaking Test. )

上善若水：Hi John,I've taken the 29 Feb interview, and I thought it was OK except one thing: since it was the first time I took the interview and the assistant teacher didn't guide m of the procedure, I took my bag to the interviewer. John：Don't worry so much! The interviewer will not take off points in this situation. In fact, I bet the interviewer was glad to have an extra minute or two of rest between interviews!

topic:along with social development,a variety fo languages and cultures are losing seriously.plz discuss the reasons and give your suggestions.

i took this topic to my australian teacher,he said it didn't make sense.it shoud change"losing seriously"into"being lost".and he gave me only one reason--progress.for intance,internet,economics,jobs,foreign companies come and so on.and then i told him it is just one reason,i can't write only one reason in the writting test.i wanna more reasons.and then,he told me it was the main reason,and he didn't know other reasons.so as a foreigner,i would like to know how do u think about this topic and what are ur reasons.oh,i also told him maybe touri* is one of the reasons.but he said no.coz toursits wanna see something traditional,not modern.maybe he is right,but i still think touri* is a reason,just like every coin has two sides.i can talk something about how touri* change our languages and cultures.am i right??although that's not a oral test question,i want to know ur opinion.i hope i don't bother u.thanks a lot!!
