　　《剑桥雅思真题集4》这本书收录的只不过是前两年考过的真题，数量有限。我们完全没有必要过分夸大这几套题的作用，这几套题和《剑桥雅思考试全真试题解析2》、《剑桥雅思考试全真试题解析3》的题只能够起到帮助大家了解出题套路的作用。我们不应该忘记一点，雅思考试主要是测试交际与运用英语的能力。

　　如果有的考生所在的城市没有《剑桥雅思真题集4》这本书，也不要感到气馁。市场上的《剑桥雅思考试全真试题解析3》以及北京 学校的老师编著的《剑桥雅思考试(IELTS)全真试题集3经典课堂》也能够帮助大家了解雅思的最新命题思路。

　　(一)听力

　　英语听力学习是一个长期的过程，需要坚持不懈的努力才能取得成效。一开始进行精听训练时，考生可以选择与自己能力相当或者稍难一点的听力教材做听写练习。练习的时间根据自己的具体情况逐渐增加。泛听的时间长短比较随意，听力教材最好以英式英语为主。需要注意的是，不论是精听还是泛听，都需要全心贯注。临近考试时，精听在半个小时左右，泛听在一个小时左右。考生要不断挑战自己的听力内存，因为雅思考试还是一场对听力持久力的考验。

　　4月26日，胡敏老师在无忧雅思网点评过雅思作文评分新标准，建议各位考生在备考时仔细研究一番。而《剑桥雅思真题集4》里面体现的依然是2005年1月以前的评分标准。有人认为写作评分新标准是换汤不换药，这是不负责任的态度。新标准强调交际能力和语言能力并重，相对以前的评分标准，对考生的语言能力要求更高了。因为在旧标准体系里，语言的含量只占三分之一，而现在交际能力(即文章的内容)和语言能力(即词汇、语法能力)各占百分之五十。希望大家能够记住这一点，加强语言基本功的练习。
