Part Three

In part three of the interview, the interviewer asks you questions about topics broadly related to the topic on your card in part two. For instance, if your part two card asked you to talk about a book, then in part three of the interview the interview might ask you what kind of books Chinese people like to read, and why, or what kind of book you would write if you had the opportunity.

Because the questions in part three are broader, they often require a longer answer. As a general rule, you should say as much as you are able to for the questions in part three. Don't worry if the interview stops you, as it just means that he or she wants to move on.

Expanding Your Answers

The biggest challenge for most students in the interview, particularly in part three, is expanding their answers. If you find that this is a challenge for you, one effective strategy is to ask yourself some questions in your mind to help you think up things to say. For example:

"Why is that?" "How does this make you feel?" "What might other people think?" (Would they agree with me, or have a different opinion?)

Often, if you don't give enough information in your answer, the interviewer will be forced to ask you these questions, so why not ask yourself first? You'll be able to extend your answer, and the interviewer will be very impressed.

what's the healthy diet in ur oppinion

talk about a movie u like
1,what's the name of it
2,when did the story happen
3,is it a sad or a happy story
why do u like it?
第三部分：都是关于movie的问题
do u think the cinema is important for people in ur city
what's the most popular moive at present there
what kind of movie do u like the most
do u think the movies now are difference from the movies in the past
what's the difference between the movie children like and the ones *s like
why do u think are there many violence in the movies now
