关于字数不够的问题：

如果你的雅思作文字数不够，是肯定会扣分的。规定字数是150个，如果只写到139个，则一定会被扣1分。但是如果能写到145个字，则考官会认为“文章长度可以接受”，可能根据文章的水平来评判，不至于扣掉1分，如果是在没东西写了，你的字数也不要差得太多。同样的规则适用于250个字的大作文。

关于字数太多的问题：

如果你的雅思作文字数太多的话，那就应该检查一下是不是有一些冗长的、不必要的描述，不要因为这些不必要的信息而导致被扣分，那就得不偿失了。另外，如 果一篇写的太长，肯定要影响到另一篇作文的发挥，因为一共只有1个小时的时间。尤其是如果因为小作文而忽视了大作文，在总分上受影响的程度就更大了。
