1. 按照场景记忆
背听力单词是有一定范围的，众所周知，听力考试是分场景来出题的，每次听力考试中，考官在一套听力试题中从十个场景中会考察三到四个，比如常考的租房场景、旅游场景、校园生活场景等，因此在我们记忆听力词汇时，可以分场景来进行背诵。总的来讲，雅思听力中的词汇可以归为两大类，即生活词汇和学术词汇。按照场景积累雅思听力词汇是最全面、有效的方法。
2. 利用词根词缀记忆词汇
英语中常见的词根、词缀有200多个，只要知道了词根和词缀的含义，就不难掌握单词的意思了。例如，知道词根“cur”的意思为“跑”(引申意思为“发生”)后，认识并记忆下列词汇并不难：• occur 发生，进行• current 目前的，最近的• excursion 远足• recur 再次出现，反复出现• concur 同意，一致。所以为了使自己的雅思词汇量在短期内迅速扩大，同学们可以集中记忆一些常见的词根、词缀。
3. 巧用Word记单词，有效避免拼写错误
很多同学套题做下来感觉不错，结果一对答案，成绩不理想，发现好多都是拼写失分，比如accommodation这个单词少拼了个c或者少拼了个m，这样的失分的非常可惜的，但也不是没有方法避免的。在准备雅思听力背诵场景词汇过程中，要做到发音与拼写的准确性，如果有同学一起默写，互相监督校对错误的话最好；如果自己一个人默写，可以在Word文档上进行默写，借助Word文档的自动纠错功能，可以帮你更仔细地检查拼写错误。
