1 on overseas study
Recent years, more and more Chinese people have chosen to study abroad. To this tendency, some people think it is not good, as most of the overseas learners do not come back, whereas I hold a different opinion.

In my opinion, it is a good thing that more Chinese people go abroad. There are three reasons. First, the overseas learners can improve their ability through the study. They can grasp advanced technologies and their language ability can be improved as well. Second, with the rapid development of China, more and more overseas learners will choose come back, using their abundant knowledge studied abroad to serve for the motherland. The third, the government and most domestic enterprises are willing to provide favorable treatments to attract them to come back.

Although some do not want to come home, we are glad to see that there are more overseas learners chosen to work at home than before. For the above reasons, I think it is not a bad thing for more and more Chinese study abroad.

2 The other day I announced that I would go abroad for further studies right after my college education. My dec is ion evoked the immediate objection of my family： Why？ Why should I borrow a huge sum of money for overseas studies while I might receive the same education at home at relatively low cost？ My answer is ：*桥察 in addition to knowledge， I can gain experience that those who stay at home will never have. First， experience is the opportunity for the real-life use of foreign languages. While a person can study a foreign language at home， the effect can never be compared with constant use of the language in academic and everyday life. There is no better opportunity to improve second-language skills than living in the country in which it is spoken. Living in Engl is h-speaking countries such as America and Australia for several years， for example， my Engl is h will be as perfect as native speakers. Second， living and studying abroad of fers me a different perspective of the world. On a university campus， foreign students are likely to encounter their counterparts from different countries and areas and are exposed to different ideas and values. Th is helps me to have a meaningful understanding of different societies and inevitably sees my own country in a new light. Third， overseas experience， frustrating and painful as it may be， is helpful. A person going abroad for study of ten experiences much more difficulty——difficulty in adapting to a new culture and in dealing with all problems alone. Yet， the difficulty， coupled with the frustration brought on by culture shock， is a rewarding experience for one’s future life and development of personality. Although going abroad is expensive and perhaps painful， the pay of f is worthwhile. For the benefit is not merely knowledge gained， but the experience desirable in one’s personal life.

3 With the developing of the world, the world we live has become much *aller. Nowadays, more and more students have to make a choice on whether or not should they study abroad. Studying in and abroad both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Needless to say, to study in one's own country is fairly cheap and convenient. One doesn't have to pass exams such as TOEFL, SAT, or something. However, they also have to take exams so as to enter college. And they usually can not receive the latest information of modern technology in the college in China. What's more, in China there ane not enough opportunities for one to develop your own idea. It is probable that they can not get a good job after they graduated, for what the had learned being out of date. And they are likely ony to do what they have been told, instead of thinking for themselves. If you can do without the few advantages that study in your own country, you will find the college abroad can offer you a better choice. Although the tuition of studying abroad is huge, there are a great number of people who can get the scholarship. And the education system abroad is different from China. It is free which can blaze your creativity. On the other hand, living abroad offers you a chance of broading your horizon. You can be familiar with a different culture. The last but not the least, in the other country, your second language can be practiced as good as your tongue language whch will improve your competitive ability in the future. So if you have a chance to study abroad, take it without hesitated.

Nowadays, many people like to study abroad. Studying abroad is often considered as a great opportunity which will lead to bright future in one's ride of passage. If one does not feel fortable with the new culture of another country, he will not be happy about studying in that country. In addition, studying abroad can cost students a great deal of living expenses. Some Chinese students are so academically successful that they receive scholarships in their studies. However, most peers who study abroad do not receive scholarships. Furthermore, they have to deal with many unexpected hardships by living away from their parents and homeland. For example, medical insurance, daily foods, clothes, rents and transportation can generate a large amount of living expenses. Recently, many young people, even students in high schools are dreaming of studying abroad. Attracted by the advanced scienve and technology,they are eager to go to foreign countries, thinking that they are bound to have a bright future.
But the reality may not be as good as they have expected. Some high school students may find it difficult to get used to the new surroundings. Some can not put up with the poor living conditions; some may give up their study because of lack of self-control; very few of them can finish their study successfully.
In my opinion, i think high school students should make their own decisions according to their different family backgrounds.But the most important thing is that they must be clear about their purpose in doing so, and they should also have prepared fully.
