英语语言要求

Applicants to programmes or courses with English as language of instruction must substantiate their English language proficiency. The requirement is equivalent to (the Swedish upper secondary school) English course 6/B. International students conventionally substantiate this knowledge by submitting acknowledged tests with a prescribed minimum test result.

There are three main ways to fulfil the English language requirement at Chalmers

1.Approved English language tests (do not sent any tests directly to Chalmers)

2.English proficiency from upper secondary/high school

3.English proficiency from previous university studies

1. English language tests

Applicants of Master's programmes and single subject courses may submit one of the acknowledged tests. The minimum test results below correspond to the level of (Swedish Upper Secondary) English course 6/B.

The following language tests and minimum scores will be accepted

IELTS (academic training), 6.5 (with no part of the test below 5.5)

TOEFL (paper based): 575 (with a minimum of 4.5 on the written part)

Note

Chalmers will not make exemptions to the required test levels.

Certificates from universities are not accepted as proof of your English language proficiency.

Neither Institutional TOEFL, nor the TOEIC-test is valid for academic purposes in Sweden.

Chalmers recommends all applicants who have taken the IELTS or the TOEFL to upload a copy of the test result into their personal account at universityadmissions.se

The TOEFL report of scores is valid ONLY when received directly from the test center, copies are not accepted. The TOEFL (Institution) code is available at www.universityadmissions.se. The test results are received and registered by University Admissions in Sweden (not Chalmers).

2. English proficiency from upper secondary/high school studies

Some applicants may be exempted from submitting an approved language test when the English proficiency from previous upper secondary or high school studies can be assessed as equivalent to English course B/6. This exemption applies if you have an upper secondary/high school Degree/Diploma from either an international education such as AICE/IGCSE, EB, IB, or from a country listed at www.universityadmissions.se (English course 6/B) only.

Nordic countries (including Sweden)

Applicants with upper secondary education and a Bachelor’s degree from a Nordic country, fulfill the English requirement provided the school leaving certificate (of the upper secondary education) is included in the application package.

3. English proficiency from previous university studies (exemptions)

Some applicants may be exempted from submitting an approved language test when the English proficiency from previous university studies can be assessed as equivalent.

先前大学学习英语熟练考试

对于先前大学学习英语熟练考试被评为同等证书的申请人，可以不用提交批准语言考试。

Nordic countries (including Sweden)

Applicants with upper secondary education and a Bachelor’s degree from a Nordic country, fulfill the English requirement provided the school leaving certificate (of the upper secondary education) is included in the application package.

北欧国家(包括瑞典)

持有北欧国家高级中学教育证书和学士学位证书的申请人，在申请时提交(高级中学教育)毕业证书的，满足英语要求。

1. 完成大搏消族学学业，持有学士学位证书，所要学习的研究生专业与大学学业相一致。根据我们以往的经验，某些瑞典院校如皇家理工学院和查尔姆斯理工大学等也接受大四在读学生的申请，这对很多即将毕业、毕业后准备马上出国继续深造的大四同学来说无疑是一个好消息。

2. 学生必须有较高的英语水平。根据瑞典院校网站公布的信息，一般要求在旧托福550或雅思6.0.但是近几年由于申请瑞典研究生的国际学生越基弊来越多，为了在众多竞争者取得优势，我们建议学生英语成绩最好能达到雅 思6.5.

3. 许多大学的系对申请研究生的学生没设瑞典语方面的正式要求，但是对于许多用瑞典语的讲座、研讨会需要较高的瑞典语水平。建议某些不会瑞典语的学生在学习研究生的课程同时，学习短期的瑞典语课程。

4. 学士学位不是上研究生的充足条件，往往各大学要对申桥虚请者的其他方面进行评估，看他/她是否有能力继续深 造，甚至直至完成博士学业。

1、隆德大学

Global Scholarship-全球奖学金申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，申请的时候无需录取通知，截止日期2月15日，可以减免学费50%--100%（最多包括全额学费）创业与创新硕士奖学金中包括学费与生活费，申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，无需录取通知，截止日期2月15日工业设计硕士奖学金包括学费210000瑞典 克朗/年与生活费104 000瑞典克朗/年，申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，无需录取通知，截止日期2月1日。

2、乌普萨拉大学奖学金

针对非欧盟学生，学习优秀，秋季入学 （包含100%学费减免，不含生活费）。申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，无需录取通知，申请日期： 1月18日至2月1日：将减免学生学费，不支持减免生活费用申请资格；仅开放于香港特别行政区居民，申请人将乌普萨拉大学放在申请第一志愿能充分证明自带漏州身的学术能力和学术兴趣符合专业的电请要求和已经完成专业申请非网络授课项目。

3、皇家理工大学KTH

皇家理工大学奖学金针对非欧盟学生，学习优秀，秋季入学。申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，无需录取通知。奖学金只包含学费减免（50%-100%不等），将从学费中扣除。

4、卡罗琳斯卡医学院

卡罗琳斯卡医学院硕士奖学金针对非欧盟学生，学习优秀，秋季入学。申请时需要具备符合项目要求的英语成绩，无需录取通知。奖学金只包含学费减免（25%-75%不等），将从学费中扣除。

二、瑞典生活费

一、General entry requirements on a Bachelor's degree or ongoing studies

To be eligible an applicant must either be a holder of - or be enrolled in his/her last year of studies leading to - a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Architecture.

1.The degree must be equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (Kandidatexamen) according to Swedish regulations. It must, amongst other parameters, comprise a minimum of 3 years of full time studies (180 credits).

2.Applicants who are currently enrolled are welcome to apply given that they, at the time of applying, have a maximum of one semester left before completing their degree. They must anticipate completing their Bachelor's degree before the start of the Master's programme.

3.Applicants who are currently enrolled in long Tertiary Education Programmes with no intermediate Bachelor's degree must have completed at least 80% (i.e. four of five years) of a full Master's programme before the start of the Chalmers Master's programme applied for, in order to be eligible.

Applicants who are currently enrolled in long educational programmes with no intermediate Bachelor's degree in a Nordic Country are required to have completed at least 3 years out of 5 of a full Master's programme, in accordance with the “Reykjavik act” of 2004.

二、Programme-specific requirements

Programme-specific requirements include a Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent) and prerequisites (one or several courses selected as necessary for the specific programme) and for three particular programmes a portfolio is required.

Applicants are responsible for proving that they fulfill the specific course requirements of the programme/s, to which they have applied. The content and focus of these particular courses must be clearly conveyed in the course names in your transcript. If this is not the case, a course syllabus (course description) must be submitted to prove that you fulfill the specific course requirements. The syllabus must be issued by the university.

Cumulative average of the maximum grade

The term cumulative average grade is synonymous with cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

In order to be eligible for Master's programmes at Chalmers applicants are generally required to have attained at least a 70% cumulative average of the maximum grade during their Bachelor's studies. Exemptions from this requirement may be granted in exceptional cases when a combination of other elements of the application (i.e. a high average grade in courses that are required or recommended by the Master's programme applied for, CV, letter of motivation, letters of recommendation, international ranking of their home University, relevant internship/work experience, etc.) are perceived to be sufficiently extraordinary to compensate for a lower cumulative average grade than the 70% minimum.

If the cumulative average grade is not provided as a percentage on an official University document a conversion into percentage will be made by Chalmers.

Please note that fulfillment of the minimum grade requirement does not necessarily guarantee that you will be admitted, as admission to Chalmers is subject to place availability and the general overall strength of your application, in addition to fulfilling other entry requirements.
