以英语为母语的人在听到一个单词之后的反应速度是0.03秒，我们不是以英语为母语的，所以我们对单词的反应速度可能不能完全达到这个指标，但是尽可能地去接近它，无疑是取得托福听力高分必须做到功课。因为你在听托福听力的时候，ETS不可能等你听明白了前面的单词，然后再放后面的录音。
而事实上，托福听力的语速也只是美国大学教授上课的一半语速，所以，不仅为了取得托福高分，更重要的是为了到美国能跟上美国的课堂，我们花大力气将反应速度练上去是完全必要的。
三、雅思听力练习方法
1、笔记大法好
托福听力笔记可以说是这个模块的灵魂了，虽然自然会尽力想把每一个细节内容都记下来，但我现在的感觉还是要有所取舍，并且每个人都有自己的记忆方式，缩写一定要是自己之后能马上看得懂的。以前练习的时候我也出现过有些单词自己随意造缩写，结果到答题的时候看笔记，自己还得懵逼一下我刚刚到底写了啥？这样就很挺费时间。
2、听懂逻辑更重要
听力的话，老师会提供很多做笔记的技巧，帮助我们在考试的时候可以听的更准确。但是我个人的习惯是不做太多笔记。我觉得对于听力考试，听懂文章的整体逻辑和内容，比起记下一堆细节而言要有用的多。为了做到这一点，建议平时可以多听一些TED的演讲，对听力水平会有很大提升。
