在雅思听力考试过程中，题干中可能经常会出现一些表示时态的单词：

从这些题中我们可以看出，前两道题都出现了currently, 第三，第四道题at present, 第五道出现original，它们都是表示时间的`词，都是选择题中题干出现的限定词，也是这些题中的考点词。

比如说第一道题which Two facilities does the theatre currently offer to the public?哪两个设施是theatre 目前提供给公众的?那我们要选择选项中包含现在时间词的选项，录音中可能还会出现将来时间进行干扰，所以计划，打算，不久将开放的就是干扰项。

根据录音：so we ‘re looking into the possibility to open a cafe in due course. (in due course 在适当的时候)排除E

there are 2 large rooms will be decorated next month , and they’ll be available for hire排除A.

we ‘re also considering hiring out costumes 排除C

所以排除法就可以做出来了。以上干扰句中都出现了将来时间词。

而答案句：

one way is by organizing backstage tours,so people can be shown around the building and learn how a theatre operates

we have a bookshop which specializes in books about drama and that attracts plenty of customers

都是一般现在时。

第二道题：题干出现currently，问现在情况

所以根据录音：we intend to learn run courses in acting, but we’re waiting until we’ve got the right people in place as trainers.出现将来时间排除B

we ‘re going to start sound next month.出现将来时间词可以排除A.

a number of people have enquired about workshops on make-up, that’s something we’r considering for the future.排除C

答案句中：our lighting workshop has already started with great success.

a surprise success is the workshop on making puppets……..it is so popular we’re now running them very month. 是现在完成时或者现在时。

那么我们来总结一下考试中常见的时间时态词：

过去的时间词：original/originally / previous/ previously / former/ initially/ first / last / used to do / ago/ before / did /past

现在的时间词：current/currently/ at present/ at the moment / now/ recently / have already done

将来的时间词：future/ be about to do/ be going to do / next / be considering / plan to do / intend to do / be thinking of / soon /

所以做做时态型的选择题时，我们审题时一定要注意题干中限定的时间词，如果是现在的，那么一般会大量用将来进行干扰。而答案句对应也是现在时或现在完成时。如果审题中题干时过去限定词，那么常用过去时间对应，当然也会部分出现干扰。题干中直接出线一般将来时的题很少，基本上都在问过去或者现在的情况。学员要牢记常见时间词，进行同意替换或者进行干扰排除，这类题就迎刃而解了。

首先我们来看一个例子：
例1 剑6 Test 4 Qs 28-30
Which three topics do this term’s study skills workshops cover？
A An introduction to the Internet
B How to carry out research for a dissertation
C Making good use of the whole range of library services
D Planning a dissertation
E Standard requirements when writing a dissertation
F Using the Internet when doing research
G What books and technical resources are available in the library
实际做题：
1）首先出现了library这个定位词，那么经历主要集中在C，G上。
原文：How to use the library’s resources. That includes everything， not just the print and the technical resources.
解题：通过同义转换可以得到答案C，或者G 选项所包含的technical resources被否定了，排除后也可以选择正确选项为C。
2）紧接着出现Internet这个定位词，马上把注意力转移到A，F上。
原文：The one on the Internet for beginners was last term. This term it’s finding research materials online.
解题：beginner 与 introduction 形成同义转换，但是时间点为上学期，作为干扰项排除后正确答案为F。
3）最后出现了dissertation这个定位词，那么B，D，E三选一就开始了。
原文：It’s a workshop on dissertation. What do you mean？ How to write one？ Er， no， it’s to do with academic writing conventions.
解题：文中问到，是怎么写一篇论文吗？回答不是的。故可以排除B，D，因为这两个选项是属于怎样写论文的，这样就可以得到正确答案E. 或者把writing conventions 与 standard requirements 做同义转换也可。
看过多选题后，我们再来看一个单选题的例子：
例2 剑7 Test 4 Q 32
In 1908， scientists in Japan
A made monosodium glutamate
B began using kombu
C identified glutamate
思路透析：
典型的雅思3选1单选题。经过审题后发现，A，C选项都为动词加名词的结构，而且名词都是glutamate，故这两个选项里出正确答案的几率很高。
实际做题：
首先出现了kombu这个定位词，但是并没有与1908这样一个时间形成匹配，故先排除B。
原文：...was actually discovered to be glutamate by scientists working there
解题：discover 与 identify 形成同义转换，答案为C

如何做雅思听力地图题

雅思听力部分一种常见题型是地图题，经常会出现在Section 2, 难度适中。地图题常见的考题类型是图形填空题（有选项的填空题或者没选项的填空题），同时结合句子完形填空题和/或选择题。今天环球青藤名师张韧菲老师为雅思考生们带来如何做雅思听力地图题。听地图题，先要熟悉常考的表示方向的词汇，譬如：go straight across / through / to 径直走过/穿过/走向cross over 穿过be next to 紧邻be far from 距离某处很远be nearby 在…附近be directly opposite 在…正对面turn right / left 右/左转be on ones’ right / left side 在…的右/左边go east / south / west / north 向东/西/南/北走go along / on … till you see… 沿着。。。一直走，直到你看见…be in the corner of … 在…的拐角处be in the top right / left corner 在右/左上角be in the bottom right / left corner 在右/左下角同时还要掌握建筑的相关常用词汇，譬如：block / complex 建筑群/街区landmark 标志性建筑wing 建筑的一部分“翼”annex 主楼的附属建筑“配楼”wheel chair access 供残疾人用的通道corridor 走廊stair 楼梯step 台阶aisle 过道当然一些常见的道路标识好也熟悉一下，譬如：Intersection / crossroad / junction十字路口side pavement / pedestrian way 人行道parking place 停车处one way only 单行道two-way traffic 双车道curve road 弯路下面我们以《剑桥4》Test 1 Section 2 ‘RIVERSIDE INDUSTRIAL VOLLAGE’为例，详细讲解：先环球青藤名师告诉大要先审题，题目分为两个部分的题型：11-13 句子完形填空题，根据之前讲的审题时划出关键词并分析句子空缺处的所填答案的词性并适当做预测，不难找到答案（此部分解释省略）。着重讲解二部分的地图题：图形填空题，Questions 14-20.注意看清题号顺序，14题是要求填路名，在图形的下方，正对着Entrance；然后15题和16题分别位于Entrance的右手边和左手边，而在15题的右边还有一个Toilets;同时正对着Entrance的上面还有听到Car Park。这一部分的顺序是：先听到‘running along the bottom is Woodside Road, got it?’因此14题的答案是‘Woodside’，注意道路名字的写字母要大写。然后会听到‘… and immediately to our right is the Ticket Office’ 即可以找到15的答案是‘Ticket Office’。接着听到‘…In front of us is the car park… and to the left, by the entry gate is the Gift Shop’要明白‘entry gate’就是题目里面出现的‘Entrance’，属于同义词转换，因此16题的答案是‘Gift Shop’。接着会听到‘Now, beyond the car park all the buildings are arranged in a half circle with a yard in the middle. The big, stone building at the top is the main WorkShop’，这时要明白题目已经转到图形上方了，那么17题答案就是‘Workshop’继而会听到‘… in the top right-hand corner, that building with bigger windows is the Showroom’，18题的答案就是‘Showroom’。继续听到‘…In the top left corner is the Grinding Shop… on one side of that you can see the Engine Room and on the other is the Café’，这个时候要明白内容已经转到图形的左侧，‘The Grinding Shop’的一边图形已经给出了‘The Engine Room’，那么不难判断另一边即是19题的答案‘Café’。后当听到‘The row of buildings you can see on the left are the cottages.
