1) Do you often do any cooking?

Yes, I do. As my mother is an expert in cooking, I actually learned how to make a meal when I was a little kid. Definitely the first step is to cook rice, and then I will prepare some fresh ingredients. Certainly there are a lot of ways to cook, like frying, stewing and so on. I usually prepare two dishes and a soup, and that’s quite enough for 1-3 persons.

2) Do you like cooking? Why or why not?

Yes, I am really into cooking. First of all, I enjoy trying different recipes and cooking brings me the sense of achievement. What’s more, I believe it is healthier to cook at home. Plus, it is a good way to save money since it is kind of pricey to eat out.

No, I’m not fond of cooking. Firstly, cooking is kind of time-consuming, coz you have to buy the ingredients first and wash and then to chop them. What’s more, you have to clean up after cooking. It’s more convenient for me to eat outside.

3) Who taught you to cook?

My mother helped me a lot when I learned to cook. I was a curious kid and I used to help my mother in the kitchen when I was very young. I was always amazed at my mother’s deftly culinary skills. So whenever I tried to cook something, I would phone my mom first and ask about her secret recipe.
