The graph below gives information about international tourist arrivals in five countries.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given graph compares the number of international tourists in 5 different countries from 1995 to 2021. As is observed from the given graph, USA had the highest number of international tourists among the given 5 countries and the number of tourists visited France during this period increased rapidly.

Initially in 1995, more than 70 million international tourists travelled USA while just above 30 million tourists travelled to France. Brazil and Egypt had less than 10 million tourists in this year compared to the just above 20 million tourists in Malaysia. Over the period, the total tourists visited these 5 countries increased with some slight fluctuations. After 10 years in 2005, the USA travelling tourists’ number reached to 90 million which was highest among the given 5 countries. In this year the international tourist’s number for France was about 65 million which was a sharp increase compared to the previous international tourists’ number of this country. In Malaysia, Brazil and Egypt the tourist’s number increased but did not exceed 40 million. Finally in 2021, the international tourist’s number of USA and France got to the same point numbering over 90 million each. Compared to the 1 years’ back data, France gained the highest increase of the international tourists. This number also increased in Malaysia and reached to over 40 million which is almost double compared to the figure of 1995. Brazil and Egypt had the least number of international tourists among the given five countries and in 2021 they both had around 25 million international tourists.

In conclusion, France as a tourists' destination got more popular over time USA and France had the largest number of international tourists among the given 5 countries.
