Describe a good law in your country.

You should say: what the law is

how you first learnt about this law who benefits from this law

and explain why you think this is a good law.

Well, the law I’d like to tell you is quite new but interesting, stating like hu*ands in China are not allowed to refuse giving their wives pocket money. Strictly, we could regard it as an additional piece of the marriage law, and it was just published last month. I learnt about it from the local newspaper, and obviously, it has become a topic of focus for almost all the people in China! I believe it’s a good law for the clearly seen benefits. Most importantly, the life basis of full-time housewives can be guaranteed. You know, unlike western countries, in China, there are lots of women giving up their own career lives after they get married, in order to take better care of their whole family, like their hu*ands, their children, and even their parents. So it’s quite reasonable for them to rely on their hu*ands for money. However, some males argue that they’ve got too much burden at work, and they need extra money for social or entertainment, so why should they give their money to their wives if the wives can earn money by themselves? As I see it, this law just plays the role of supervising hu*ands to take more responsibility of the family. As it’s said “the more you pay, the more you will care”, so maybe it can be a good way to make a stable marriage and strengthen our family union.

  法律的话题听起来晦涩难懂,选好话题进行展开描述也不太难,所以要求考生们在话题的范围内要进行多多了解,多关注社会新闻。
