When do you need to be focused?

When I work and when I play. Naturally, if I am focused when I work, I am more efficient, and, hence, more productive. I also need to be focused when I play, because I am a competitive person.

What may distract you when you’re trying to stay focused?

Typically, messages from the messaging application that I use at study. Some days, I keep receiving messages that draw my attention away from the study that I am doing. Also, emails are a source of distraction every now and then.

What do you do to help you concentrate?

Silence. I like to study in a quiet environment because I think more clearly and can keep my focus for a

longer time. Sometimes, listening to piano or acoustic music helps me concentrate, as well.

Is it difficult for you to stay focused on something?

It depends on what I am doing. Usually, it is easier to stay focused if I am doing something that I like.

As an example, I like mathematics, and when I work on it, I can focus on it effectively for long times.
