How do you celebrate New Year?

During the Spring Festival, my family always gather together and go to a restaurant for a big dinner to celebrate this great festival. After dinner, we go back home to watch the Spring Festival Gala together while some of us play card games.

Do you still remember a new year that you celebrated?

I remember almost every new year celebration I have experienced because the festival is so special and important. To name one, for example, last year, the whole family descended down from my grandparents and got together to make dumplings, have dinner together and watch the Spring Festival Gala at my grandma’s home.

Do you have any ceremonies to celebrate the New Year in your country?

Regarding the customs of the Spring Festival, family or friends gathering together is an essential part. During that time, people from all over the world, no matter how far they are and what they are doing, go back home and have a feast with family members and friends.

Why do people think New Year is a new beginning?

In my view, I think it is because it all starts from 〃1〃. New Year is from Jan 1 ^st . It seems like a brand-new start for everyone, because you know you have got the *allest number and, in the future, you still get so many days.
