Describe a photograph you like
You should say:
What the photograph was about
When and where it was taken
Who took it for you
And explain why you like it

There are thousands of photos on my iPhone, and I like many of them. Today I would like to share a particular photo which I love very much. The photo was taken by professor Sophie last year when I attended the Mathematical Contest in Modeling （美国数学建模竞赛）where I worked with a group of close clas*ates.

In the photo, my friends Jane and Sophie were creating complicated mathematical models on the computer while I sit next to them holding a pencil. All of us looked focused and serious, and the computer screen was full of python code, formulas, and figures.

I like this photo for several reasons. Firstly; it reminds me of the hard-working time when we spent 6 months learning mathematical models in two ways, including reading books and using modeling software. We also used computer software such as Matlab to simulate some business problems with models. It was such a great memory. Secondly; it recorded the great teamwork and friendship in my team. Whenever I see this photo, I feel proud of having such close friends and very satisfied with our achievement, because we reaped a great return from our hard work, as we got a prize for “Meritorious Winner” at the end.

在照片中，我的朋友简 和苏菲正在电脑上创建复杂的数学模型，而我坐在他们旁边拿着一支铅笔。我们所有人都全神贯注，神情严肃，电 脑屏幕上满是python代码、公式和数字。

我喜欢这张照片有几个原因。首先，它让我想起了我们花了 6个月的时 间学习数学模型，通过阅读书籍和使用建模软件两种方式。利用Matlab等计算机软件对一些商业问题进行模型模拟。那是多么美好的回忆啊。其次，它记录了我的团队中伟大的团队合作和友谊。每当我看到这张照片的时候，我都为自己有这样的好朋友而感到骄傲，也为自己的成绩感到很满意，因为我们的努力得到了很大的回报，最后我们 获得了 “有功优胜奖”。
