Describe a trip you took by public transport

Last year, my best friend Shelly and I went to Hangzhou by train. Both of us love to travel around by train, because it is really convenient and cheap. Most importantly, you can appreciate many picturesque sceneries on the train. Though it was a very long journey, we could play cards and watch movies together. Therefore, delightfully and cheerfully, we boarded the train setting off to Hangzhou.

And we really had a good time in Hangzhou. The West Lake in Hangzhou is one of the best-known attractions in China. We went boating on the famous West Lake, climbed the Leifeng pagoda and also visited the famous Zhejiang university. What impressed me the most must have been the Lingyin temple. The red maple leaves fell on the both sides of its road and several temples lay separately in the trees. It looked like a picture or something which should be in cartoons. Moreover, both of us were also satisfied with the food in Hangzhou since it was so delicious.

At the end of the trip, we also went home by train. Although some people are fond of driving, I prefer public transportation. Because it is not only an environmentally friendly way of travel, but also convenient and cheap. You don’t need to look up routes or worry about the fatigue of driving. After getting on the vehicle, you can just relax and do whatever you like, such as sleeping and playing poker. In addition, I have always felt that drivers on public transport are more skilled, which means safer.

去年，我和我最好的朋友雪莉坐火车去了杭州。我们都喜欢坐火车旅行，因为它真的很方便和便宜。最重 要的是，你可以在火车上欣赏许多风景如画的风景。虽然路程很长，但我们可以一起打牌、看电影。于是， 我们兴高采烈地登上了开往杭州的火车。

回程我们同样选择了火车。虽然一些人喜欢自驾游，但是相比之下我更喜欢公共交通工具。因为它不仅环 保，而且很轻松。你不需要查询路线，也不需要担心驾驶的劳累。上车之后你可以放松的做任何你喜欢的 事，比如睡觉和打牌。另外，我一直觉得公共交通工具的驾驶员技术更好，这也意味着更加安全。
