《天气阻挡你想做的事》和《重要旅程的延误》

It is very unpleasant to have an expected plan changed, but sometimes it must be changed because of the weather conditions. Though it makes me angry, I have to accept it

During summer vacation, Lucy and I planned to go to the Happy Valley which is the biggest outdoor amusement park. It was an important date for me, because Lucy is my best friend but we went to different universities so we could only meet up in the vacations.

When I got up that day, I found it was heavily foggy （浓雾）outdoors and I even couldn’t see the apartment which is opposite of mine. I immediately told Lucy the situation but she still wanted to have a try and went to the amusement park. When we arrived to the Happy Valley, we were told that the Happy Valley had suspended （停止） most of the facilities for safety reasons. Only a few of them were still operating and may be closed at any time. They were very sorry about that and suggested that we come in another day. We were so frustrated that we had to cancel or delay our tour. We had no other places to go but to watch a movie.

I was still quite sad because I was longing to go the Happy Valley but failed because of the heavy fog. Although Lucy comforted me and decided to go there next week. Of course, I agreed and hoped that nothing bad would happen in the next time.

回家后，我感到非常难过，我想去游乐园很久了，却因为一场大雾，Lucy安慰了我，跟我约定下周再去一 次。我当然说可以，希望下次旅行再也不要遇到类似的事情。

When I wanted tell Lucy the situation, I received a SMS which was sent by the Happy Valley. It was a notice that the Happy Valley had suspended （停止） most of the facilities for safety reasons. Only a few of them were still operating and may be closed at any time. They were very sorry about that and suggested that we come in another day. We were so frustrated that we had to cancel or delay our tour. We had no other places to go but to watch a movie.

It was very important that we received that SMS. Or we may have gone there and bought tickets but had nothing to play.
