Last summer, my school friends and I won the regional (当地的）basketball competition and as a celebration we organised a large congratulatory dinner (庆功宴）to share together. Shortly after the competition, my best friend Andrew and I invited all of our teammates to join us for dinner at Beijing Da Dong, which is one of the best dining restaurants in Beijing.

On the night of the dinner all of our closest friends showed up dressed in fine and elegant clothing. We sat down to a luxurious meal and we all celebrated our victory and discussed our plans for the future. It was a beautiful summer evening, the weather was cool, and we all had a brilliant night filled with joy and merriment (欢乐）.After we finished our main courses, Andrew suggested we play a game, called wolf kill, which was the most popular game in campus. We then played this game whilst we were served dessert. The games were energetic and exciting.

We stayed long after our dishes were cleared away, playing games and chatting to each other. The staff at this restaurant were so hospitable, they did not pressure us to leave once we had finished our meal. In fact, they brought us some complimentary tea to drink while playing our games. We all had a truly wonderful night and left the restaurant with a lot of happiness in our hearts.
