29. 早起的经历

One day a few months ago, I got up very early. It was my birthday. So I invited some friends to come over128. We agreed to meet at my home around 12pm. So, I needed to make sure everything was ready before they came. But I was busy with work the night before. I had to prepare for the party the next morning.

I remember that I got up at about 5:30. I began by129 baking my own birthday cake. Actually, I had just learned how to bake a cake. So I decided to bake a birthday cake myself. It took me almost three hours. Then, since I’m not great at cooking, I also prepared hotpot for lunch. It’s pretty easy.

After I finished those tasks, it was close to 11am. To respect the guests, I cleaned the apartment very well before my friends came. When they arrived, we enjoyed a hotpot feast. We also ate the birthday cake I made. We all had a great time that day.
