这是一道经历类新题，难度中等，这道题的难点在于大家如何想到自己在发挥想象力的时候，其实想象力不需要是特别高大上的类型，平时生活中可以运用到的也可以，比如写作文的时候、想数学几何题的时候等等，当然有其他更有特色的经历描述出来也会更出彩。

题目分解：

先问“When it was” 什么时候？

关于时间类的小问，可以从基本的时间要素切入，比如多久之前，几岁的时候，也可以是对当时的确切的场景进行一个描述，比如在做数学题的时候、在小学初中写语文作文的时候、在读童话故事的时候、在创作某件艺术品的时候等。

第二问“Why you needed to use imagination” 为什么要用想象力？

运用想象力的原因：想象力帮助我们创造新的事物，带来新鲜感；自己想要做出一个与众不同的东西；被老师要求不能雷同，需要新意等等。

第三问“How difficult or easy it was”难还是简单？

这一小问可以根据自己的真实体验来说，和第四小问相关联。难可以是觉得自己想象不出来，比如做几何数学题遇到瓶颈；简单可以是自己很喜欢创作，随便就能勾勒出清晰的想象空间和画面。

I didn’t major in fashion design and theoretically it could be hard for me to work it out since making a unique dress did require lots of imagination from designing to making. When it comes to how difficult or easy it was, I spent almost a week thinking about the idea, fabric and measurement, which could prove how challenging it was. But I was unsatisfied with my thoughts so it ended up with nothing. After that, I had plenty of communications with my cousin and I finally knew what I could do. I crafted the dress with the help of my cousin. I measured my model, following a professional dres*aker’s measurement guide. Through a month’s great efforts, I managed to finish the sewing process and added zipper to the dress, which should be the last steps. As for how I felt about it, to be honest, it was really challenging and I considered giving up several times but I made it. I just wanted to do something special to celebrate this wonderful moment since my cousin and I grew up together and we were the best friends for each other.

All my efforts are worthy and I have learnt how to give full play to my imagination and creativity. I think it is the best dress in the world because it is designed and made all by myself.
