Describe a good law in your country

You should say:

What the law is

Why you think it is a good law

Well, that should be something uneasy for me to talk about because I’m not quite familiar with these law issues. However, as I can recall from my memory, China’s Food Safety Law is the first thing that has occurred to me. I suppose the law came into force in 2009...or maybe in 2021? Sorry I cannot surely tell exactly when but I ensure you that to me, it is a really good law which may really start to change something.

You might still remember the baby milk scandal happened here in China, where 6 infants died of gallstones and thousands of were actually affected just because of drinking some powdered milk? It raised attention that food safety was apparently a serious issue in our society. Since that, more and more have been revealed as all of these gutter oil and harmful addictive are not far away from our dining tables. In fact, China’s food safety record has fallen to a new low, with panic being widespread and everyone started to lose hope. Then some sort of stuff must be done to prevent the situation from getting worse. Consequently, the implement of China’s Food safety Law is one of those measures.

The penalties, if someone who is responsible for food safety crash, will be quite tough. According to news reports, several people have been sentenced for their omissions or even crimes in various food safety scandals. Just imagine that if the law were not enforced to be active, not only would those poisonous and lethal food threaten people’s health conditions, but also damaged the government’s reputation internationally and declined China’s food exports. Thus I believe this harsh but necessary law came just at the crucial moment.
