Part 2从形式上来说需要说比较长时间，所以看起来是难度大的一个部分，很多烤鸭也是谈之色变。但只要我们在这个部分的五大类主题下分别准备好充分的素材，即使到了考场遇到了新题，考生基本也可以灵活地将以前反复使用过的熟悉的素材套用到新题之中。下面就以一道人物题为例，考生在阅读的同时也可以思考一下这个素材还可以运用到哪些topic里面。

Describe a friend who you had at school.
You should say:

分析过程：

思路	以作者在寄宿高中的室友为例展开介绍。另提醒各位考生，针对Part2的每个小题要有的放矢，着重笔墨在擅长的小题进行发挥，素材缺乏的小题只言片语带过即可，但不可通篇完全不涉及某道小题。
词汇	考生可借鉴范文中女性外貌的描述性语言，平时也注意积累关于各类人物性格和品质描述的词汇，建议把人物讲出特色和特性
语法	描述人物时非常适合使用 “* is a/an * person who is …” 类型的从句

原范例：

The best friend I had at high school is named Renee, and the first impression she gave me when I first saw her was her waist-length straight hair. If you look closer at her face, you can see that her face is oval, with some freckles on the rosy cheeks, and she has a pair of bright brown eyes with bushy eyelashes, which are uncommon among Chinese girls.
I still remember the scenario when we first met in the school dormitory on the first day of the semester. As we were totally strange at that time, I was sort of embarrassed with the atmosphere, so I kept wordless, turning my back on her pretending to be busy with the bed-making stuff. And unexpectedly she came over slowly and tapped on my shoulder asking with a kind tone: “Do you need help?” From then on, we gradually became intimate friends. As we were in a boarding school in the suburb of our city, we took care of each other for most of the time. Basically she is just like my elder sister, because she’s more considerate and mature than me. Sometimes when we got in a fight, it was always her who apologized first. Except the time we spent at school, we also enjoyed staying together during the holidays. We visited each other’s home and had dinner on weekend, and we traveled to different natural resorts during the summer vacations. Renee is my BFF because without her my high-school time wouldn’t be so intact and memorable, and from her, I’ve learned a lot like interpersonal skills and trans-positional thinking. In a word, she is not only a friend, but also a lifelong soul mate.
