雅思阅读逻辑之因果关系

众所周知， 的分数高低很大程度上取决于词汇量，那么对于那些词汇量比较小短期内没法大量扩充词汇的同学该如何去补这块“短板”？ 我的建议是有针对性的去积累词汇——也就是所谓的雅思考的核心词汇，这里我特别强调逻辑关系词的积累。

今天将和大一起分享下 逻辑之因果关系 。在看复习资料之前，大不妨掰掰手指头算算你的脑袋里装了多少因果信号词。笔者通常会把因果分为以下四类：

类表示“因为”的词
because, for, since, in that, now that, as, due to, thanks to, on account of , owing to
二类表示“所以”的词
so, thus, therefore, thereby, hence, consequently, as a consequence, as a result
三类表示“导致……”的词
lead to, give rise to, contribute to, attribute…to, trigger, bring about, breed, cause, engender
四类表示“源于……”的词
derive from, originate from, result from, arise from

复习资料还原：

例1.填空
题目：This great variety of languages came about largely as a result of geographical ______.
原文：Isolation breeds linguistic diversity: as a result, the world is peppered with languages spoken by only a few people.

例2.判断
题目：The FAA was created as a result of the introduction of the jet engine.
原文：An accident that occurred in the skies over the Grand Canyon in 1956 resulted in the establishment of the Federal Aviation Administration.

例3.选择
题目：The use of pesticides has contributed to
A a change in the way ecologies are classified by agroecologists
B an imbalance in many ecologies around the world
C the prevention of ecological disasters in some parts of the world
D an increase in the range of ecologies which can be usefully farmed
原文：Apart from engendering widespread ecological disorders, pesticides have contributed to the emergence of a new breed of chemical-resistant, highly lethal superbugs.

找到与题目对应的原文之后，大不难发现以上划线的因果逻辑词，这样找到与答案相对应的部分则如探囊取物，不费吹灰之力！ 中这样逻辑关系的应用不一而足，所以考生务必重视。
