剑桥阅读复习资料变身写作素材（1）

Paragraph A
1.The concept of the rocket , or rather the mechani* behind the idea of propelling an object in the air , has been around for well over two thousand years .
解析：大可以把空格处替换为写作的主题词，在文章段处用来引入主题，而不是简单的改写标题。

2.However, it was not until the discovery of the reaction principle , which was the key to space travel and so represents one of the great milestones in the history of scientific thought, that rocket technology was able to develop.
解析：通过空格替换，这句话在科技类主题中会成为一句万能的背景介绍句。
