如何充分利用雅思阅读材料

雅思阅读文章，尤其是剑3~9上面出现过的复习资料阅读文章，是很有借鉴意义的。考生们如果能够充分利用，相信会收获颇多的。

1、词汇的积累

这点毋庸置疑。一篇差不多900~1000字左右的阅读文章所包含的词汇量必然是很大的，如果考生能够将复习资料每篇文章进行精读，单词词汇进行记录背诵，相信即使不去背词汇手册，对于雅思词汇的掌握也就八九不离十了。

2、遣词造句的模仿

这点我们来重点讲述一下。

雅思阅读材料一般来自New Scientist、The Economist等一些杂志，这些文章无论是从主题、材料的选取、用词、句型等等方面都是十分值得学习的。

而对于遣词造句，我们来看几个例子，来帮助你了解阅读材料的参考意义。

例一：摘自2021.7.13雅思阅读二篇

In 2009 British films grossed around $2 billion worldwide and achieved a market share of around 7% globally and 17% in the United Kingdom. UK box-office takings totaled £944 million in 2009, with around 173 million admissions. The British Film Institute has produced a poll ranking what they consider to be the 100 greatest British films of all time, the BFI Top 100 British films.

这是很好的数据描述的例子。我们在写小作文，尤其是图表题需要描述数据时，往往用词或者句型过于单一，而看这个例子“grossed”、“ achieved a market share of around 7%”、“takings totaled £944 million in 2009”等等都是很好的值得学习的例子。

例二：摘自剑五Test 2 Reading passage 1

The resin was allowed to cool in shallow trays until it hardened, and then broken up and ground into powder. Other substances were then introduced, including…. . In the last stage, the heated Bakelite was poured into a hollow mould of the required shape …

这又是很好的流程图描述的例子。我们来仔细看一下，“was allowed”用了被动，“until、then、in the last stage”等都是很好的表示先后顺序的连接词，这都是很值得考生学习和模仿的，可以运用到小作文中去。

其实雅思阅读中还是有很多值得参考和学习的地方，比如表达一个观点，比如例子的引入等等，还有一些主题的确定等等，考生可以自己挖掘其中的奥秘，充分使用雅思阅读这个材料，加强各方面英语能力的提高。
