雅思阅读之判断题——实例篇1

在上篇中为大讲了雅思阅读判断题的解题新思路。下面结合剑桥复习资料的具体题目来讲解判断题的解题思路。

1. 先来解释 TRUE/YES 的标准 : 题目中所有的考点词汇和原文的表达完全对应 ;

这里的完全对应有两个层面的判断 : 一是主题信息 (topic) 要对等 ; 二是句中关于 topic 信息的论述和说明也对等 . 对于英语句子来说 , 其句子意思大致有两方面 : 主题 (topic) 以及对主题的说明 (how, why). 符合这两点 , 即可判断 TRUE.

例 1.Cambridge 4 Test1 Passage1

题目 : It has been suggested that children hold mistaken views about the "pure" science that they study at school.

原文： Many studies have shown that children harbour misconceptions about "pure" science, curriculum science.

分析 : 题目中的主题和原文中的主题是同一个对象 children, 由主题所发出的动作一一对应 , 题目中的 harbour misconceptions 与 hold mistaken views 对应 , 为同义表述 , 意为持有错误的观点 , that they study at school 对应 curriculum science ，在这里 curriculum 做名词，表示 “ 学校课程 ” 的意思。因此 , 此题答案为 TRUE.

再如 , 例 2 Cambridge 6 Test1 Passage2

题目 : International trade is increasing at a greater rate than the world economy.

原文 : International trade is growing at a startling pace. While the global economy has been expanding at a bit over 3% a year, the volume of trade has been rising at a compound annual rae of about twice that.

分析 : 题目和原文的主题 topic 主要是围绕 international trades 和 global economy. 这里原文中要把握一个逻辑信号词 while, 这里明显表明是把 international trades 和 global economy 来比较 . International trades 对应原文中的 the volume of trades, global economy 对应原文中的指示代词 that, (that 在原文中特指 global economy), a greater rate than 对应原文中的 rising at a compound annual rate of about twice. 出现三个考点词汇的完全对应 , 因此答案为 TRUE.

从以上的例子可以看出 , 被判断为 TRUE/YES 的陈述表达无一例外都和文章中的考点表达存在对应关系 .
