Are you good at memorizing things?

I do think so. I think I can memorize things a bit better than average as I compare myself to clas*ates and friends around me. I would be able to remember phone numbers after hearing it only once or twice, but many of my friends need to write it down somewhere. Also sometimes I can remember things which I just memorized randomly, without deliberately trying. For example, if you ask me how much was my dinner yesterday, I would usually be able to tell you even though I didn ^‘ t pay much attention on the bill.

Do you think children would like the rhythm of songs or poems? Why?

Yes I do. I think rhythm in both songs and poems has an inner beauty. It is something that would make people feel like it’s meant to be that way. So I think although kids don’t understand what rhythm is, they would still like it. It ⁵ s like you have some kind of hidden pattern behind those words and beats that it makes you feel comfortable sing or saying things out loud. I don’t really know how to express how I feel about the rhythms, but I believe that children can also feel what I feel.

Do you think it is easier for children to learn a song or poem than *s? Why?

I actually don’t know. I think in general children may have a better memory than *s. But then when it comes to songs and poems, *s can usually really understand what they are talking about, what do they mean. Adults would memorize the meaning first and then memorize the whole thing. Understanding the meaning of the work would greatly help the memorization process. So I think neither * or child has a distinctive advantage in memorizing songs or poems.

What con people learn from songs or poems?

Of course, I think people can learn from songs and poems the beauty of art. Ifs all about feelings. Those music and words were deliberately made that way and the composers and writers are usually very thoughtful as to what to put into their work. You can even learn literature in some of the songs and poems. Also, I think you can also learn about beautiful rhythm and good lyrics and writings. The feeling of rhythm just comes naturally, and I think that *ooth and natural feeling is one kind of beauty.
