1. How do people usually go travelling?

Nowadays, most people try to reduce their impact on the environment, therefore they try to travel by train or bus where possible. These are effective forms of public transport which have a much lower impact on the environment. However, sometimes it is not possible or convenient to travel by train or bus. In which case, many people still fly as this is often the cheapest, quickest and most convenient form of travel.

2. In what ways can traffic condition in a city be improved?

Traffic conditions in a city could be improved by disineentivizing （抑制）people from driving. The most effective way of doing this is by increasing the tax prices on owning cars and introducing a congestion charge to discourage people from driving in the inner city. These measures would make people less likely to want to drive and therefore there would be less people on the road. This way the traffic would be greatly decreased in cities.

3. Do people still drive a car if public transportation is free of charge?

Many people still drive a car even if public transportation is free of charge because they find driving more convenient for them. For example, some people like to have the privacy and security of their own car rather than share a vehicle with strangers on public transport. Furthermore, some people like to have control over where they travel and go to places directly which is impossible on public transport. For these reasons people still drive cars even if public transportation is free.

4. How can transportation in rural areas be developed?

The development of transportation in rural areas must begin with the development of infrastructure （基础设施）.For example, first there must be the development of new roads and new railways in rural areas. After this there can then be the introduction of new buses and new cars to transport people around the area. It is important that people in rural areas have effective and efficient means of transportation, therefore it is important to develop the infrastructure for the transport systems.
