1. What kind of people do you usually see in the news?

There are all sorts of different people in the news. Quite a lot of the time there will be politicians in the news as politics is very important and the news is frequently focused on international affairs. However, there are also often celebrities and athletes in the news when they have done something amazing or unusual. The news normally has people on it who are already in the public eye （公众视线）,and famous.

2. Are stories about celebrities in the new always true?

It is important to be skeptical （持怀疑态度的） about celebrity stories in the news because they are not always true. A lot of the time there are fake stories on celebrities in the news because there are reporters who have bad information. Celebrity stories attract a lot of attention, so news channels like to report them, but a lot of the time the stories are not very accurate and turn out to be untrue. Therefore, we must always be careful when we are listening to a news story.

3. Is news often about famous people? Why?

The news is often about famous people and I think this is a very modem condition. In the modem world, famous people and celebrities are becoming richer and more powerful than ever before. Because of this, people become obsessed with （沉迷于）celebrities and then the news channels report loads of stories on them. I do not think this is very good because I believe there is more important news in the world to be heard.

4. Could superstar bring positive influence to the public?

Superstars definitely have the potential to bring positive influence into the public, if they use their power in a good way. Celebrities are often some of the richest and most influential people in society. This is because they have thousands of fans who listen to every word they say. Therefore, if superstars spread good messages and encourage better behavior then they could have a very positive influence on the public.
