1. Is color important for clothing?

Colour is very important for clothing. Firstly, colour is a way that we can all express ourselves through our clothing. My favourite colour is red so I own a lot of red shirts, hats and jackets. Furthermore, it is very important when dressing that we do not wear colours that clash. Wearing clashing colours looks garish and unpleasant, so it is very important to consider the colours of your clothing when getting dressed.

2. Should coursebooks be colorful?

I have mixed opinions on whether course-books should be colourful or not. On the one hand, it is nice for students to have bright and colourful course books. Bright colours keep people in a good mood and therefore can be beneficial to students. However, there is also a risk that they may become a distraction. Study and school should be serious so it may be the case that it is better for students to have plain course-books.

3. What color do you think people would choose when decorating their houses?

It is a very subjective choice what colour people choose when decorating their houses. Most of the time people like to pick their favourite colours but they also consider whether the colour is too bright or garish for decorating their house. For example, yellow is a very bold colour to choose so it may not be the best even if this is your favourite colour. People normally prefer muted tones such as whites and greys, which are simple and elegant.

4. Do you think the color of a company^ dress code represents the image of the corporation?

I think colours have a huge psychological effect on peopled opinions, therefore, the colour of a company^ dress code should represent the image of the corporation. For example, it would be very strange for a funeral directors company to have a bright orange dress code. They must be serious and respectful, therefore, it is only appropriate to have a black dress code. Therefore, most of the time the colour of a company^ dress code does represent the image of the corporation but occasionally some companies make poor choices and theirs does not.
