Yes, there are many special places to visit in India. Some are special because of their historical importance, like Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb in New Delhi and so on. Some are special because they are naturally beautiful, like Kashmir, the hill stations in Himachal Pradesh, beaches of Goa and the backwaters of Kerala. Some have a religious importance, like Haridwar, Varanasi, Allahabad, Tirupati, Golden Temple, Nizamuddin’s mausoleum, and many others.

2. Do Indian people like to travel abroad?
Yes, Indian people like to travel abroad. They travel for various purposes, like for business, for education, for pleasure, for religious reasons and some travel to other countries for better living standards and better job opportunities.

3. How can people benefit from travelling?
People can benefit a lot from traveling. We can learn about new cultures, languages and different kinds of cuisines when we travel. We get to meet new people and make new friends. It leads to more exposure, which broadens our horizons. Busines*en can expand their business globally. Students travel for better education facilities and some people benefit by getting better job opportunities. Travelling also makes people better decision makers and we also learn how to handle challenges and difficult situations.

4. Do you like to travel on you own or with your family?
I like travelling with my family, as it gives us an opportunity to spend quality time with them. Also, there is a sense of security that we feel, when travelling with family. If there is a problem when travelling, there is someone we can rely on or fall back on.

5. Do you like to visit popular places or less-known places?
I like to visit popular places, as I want to know the reasons of their popularity. Also, at a popular tourist place, the transport and accommodation facilities are always good and there is problem we face in terms of communication and food, when visiting such places.

I like to visit lesser-known places because the culture at such places is not diluted; it is pure, in terms of their way of living, language and food. So, to experience the purity in culture, lesser-known places are always better. Also, there is less pollution and fewer tourists at such places, which gives us an opportunity to interact more with the local people and get more knowledge about them and their culture.
