然后我们再来看坏处。

Many people today tend to have a varied job history and also move to different places during the course of their lives. This can advance their career although sometimes it is difficult to maintain their relationships with friends and neighbours.

People who change jobs or move house from time to time may become well-rounded and knowledgeable, since they can meet new friends and acquire a great variety of skills. For example, they may work for a multinational company, where they can improve language skills with the help of colleagues from other countries. The new employer may use a different computer system, allowing them to upgrade their computer skills. With such skills and experience, these people can handle complex problems more easily and gain more opportunities for career progression.

Another reason why people make career changes or move to a new home is that they intend to experience different cultures and lifestyles. They may enjoy working in companies which place importance on teamwork, because they can work closely with supportive colleagues to achieve targets. It is also interesting to live in a neighbourhood where they can gain access to facilities to do exercise regularly, and amenities such as clubs, pubs and cinemas for different social activities. By embracing these changes, many people can live a colourful and rewarding life.

On the other hand, people may have difficulty maintaining a strong relationship with friends or neighbours, if they do not have a steady job or live in a place for a long time. The lack of communication with colleagues or those living the next door can be a problem because they do not visit each other or eat a meal together. They cannot cope with stress easily due to the fact that they cannot take advice from others or share their feelings with others. They are not close and do not have a sense of community.

In conclusion, moving to another place or working for another company is a good choice for people in terms of career advancement. On the negative side, it is not easy to create a closely-knit community if everybody leads a nomadic life.
