受当事人委托，代表其进行贸易活动，并从中收取佣金，规定有专营权的代理协议，即为独家代理协议( sole agency)。请求作代理时，可说We are very much interested in acting as your sole agent．（我们对做贵方独家代理很感兴趣）。

　　Do you like (to learn about) history?

　　I love history as it shows us where we come from. People say history always repeats itself and it does. I think it’s important to look back so we can learn from past mistakes

　　and make sure we don't make the same ones as our ancestors did. My favourite time in

　　history would have to be the medieval times.

　　History is the record of events that have happened in the past. In a sense all

　　human history. History helps you understand yourself better and understand others

　　around you better.

　　Do you think you can learn history from films or TV programs?

　　No. Unless the film is presented as a documentary, no strict adherence to the

　　historical record is mandated. You go to movies not to learn about history but to be

　　entertained, frightened, thrilled. That’s all great. But there’s no reason that an episode

　　of history has to be done with a certain degree of accuracy, because that’s not the

　　objective of a movie. My view is, if you get your history from movies or TV programs, you

　　get what you deserve.

　　我不这么认为。除非电影是以纪录片的形式呈现的。你去电影院不是去学历史而是去娱乐，享受惊悚，*的，这样很好。没理由一段历史一定要以某种程度的准确度来拍出来，因为这不是电影的目的。我的观点是：如果你从电影或电视中获取历史，那你获得的就是这种历史。
