一、国家的选择，美国可以招收国际学生的全部学校都接受托福，95%的学校接受雅思。

学生可以在申请材料清单上发现例如这样的字样，语言录取标准，托福80或者雅思6/6.5;托福100或者雅思7.5的字样。但是如果学生选择英联邦国家则只能学习雅思，因为英国，新西兰，澳大利亚这些国家在以往的录取历史上都不接受托福。

但是加拿大的学校则不然，学校根据录取习惯有的接受雅思，有的接受托福。综上考托福还是考雅思是在选择国家，学校的时候就需要根据申请目标的要求而确定的，不然则是南辕北辙。

二、英语学习习惯的不同，考托福考雅思也是有区别的。

例如有的同学习惯在电脑上阅读，托福对他/她就不是问题。但是大部分应届、在校学生的阅读习惯是在纸上阅读，因此雅思的阅读速度就会更快。雅思和托福从考试形式上来说区别最大的有3个部分，即阅读，写作，口语。

如果是在校学生，我推荐雅思写作 ，提笔生花所有的拼写靠的是下意识，这样的拼写正确率高，速度快。由于在校学生不经常使用电脑打英文即使使用电脑通常也选择WORD的纠错功能，所以一旦参加托福考试 会降低写作速度并且在考场会出现怀疑自己拼写正确性的情况。反之，如果考试非应届毕业生，按照当今社会的普遍性推测，人们写字的时间少于键盘输入，那就可以考虑选择托福机考了。

三、你的个性决定了考托福还是考雅思。

考生都知道托福的口语是对着电脑在做答题时交流，而雅思的口语实际上就是一种面对面的聊天。如果你性格外向，有比较善于发挥自己的面部表情和身体语言和人交流，对待陌生人没有排斥感，没有恐惧感，也就是我们俗称的自来熟，强烈建议您去考雅思。

一、托福简介：

托福是由美国教育测验服务社（ETS）举办的英语能力考试，全名为“检定非英语为母语者的英语能力考试”，中文由TOEFL而音译为“托福”。

TOEFL有三种，分别是： pbt—paper based test 纸考 677, cbt—computer based test 机考 300, ibt—internet based test 网考 120, 新托福满分是120分。TOEFL考试的有效期为两年，是从考试日期开始计算的。例如：2003年1月18日参加考试，这次考试成绩的有效期是从2003年1月18日到2005年1月18日。托福复习主要资料为托福机经又称民间托福答案题库。

2021雅思考试流程

1. 7:30是开始进入考场的时间，理论上只要在8点15以前到就可以了，太早到只能坐在waiting room里候考。

2. 在大厅贴出的考号表上准确找到自己的考场，8点一刻后考官会要求考生到各自的教室外排队等待确认身份，这时要关闭*，把背面写好姓名考号的照片、身份证(或护照等)和已关机的*拿在手里就可以了，其他东西放在包里。
